Chemical Dependency Treatment - Our state-certified Substance Abuse Treatment program provides individual, group and family counseling for problem drinking and drug abuse. We also assist with housing and employment, and offer support groups and sober activities to aid in long-term success.

Children, Youth and Families - We provide youth activities, leadership training and counseling so young people can succeed. CYF counselors also address substance abuse; help families deal with emotional and behavioral problems; and communicate with school officials or welfare offices.

Citizenship Services - Provides classes and assistance with legal immigration process to help immigrants and refugees become active U.S. citizens. ACRS offers one of the largest programs of its type in Washington State.

Congregate Meal and Emergency Feeding - Provides nutritious ethnic hot meals and hosts meaningful social activities for older adults through Club Bamboo and 20 local partner organizations; distributes sack lunches every Friday to homeless and/or hungry Seattle area residents.

Consultation and Education - Experts in working with culturally diverse communities consult and train individuals and other organizations to ensure Asian Pacific Americans are treated with respect and get appropriate help wherever they go.

Domestic Violence Batterers’ Treatment - Provides batterers treatment, referrals for victims and community education to stop domestic violence and sexual assault.

Employment and Training Services - In order to promote economic self-sufficiency, ACRS offers career counseling, job-readiness skills training, job placement, retention help, case management and workplace literacy classes.

Food Bank - One of the most visited food banks in King Country, we distribute 1.3 million pounds of food each year to nearly 5,000 low-income individuals, many of whom are repeat clients because ACRS has the only food bank in Washington state regularly distributing foods for Asian and Pacific Islander diets like rice and tofu.

Information and Referral - Since 1973, ACRS’ affordable counseling and assistance programs have helped individuals find what they need to improve their lives. ACRS staff can connect people with a myriad of community resources, both within the agency or elsewhere in King County.

Legal Clinic - In partnership with the King County Bar Association and the Asian Bar Association of Washington, ACRS offers consultation, referrals and workshops on legal issues like immigration, small business, power of attorney and employment.

Mental Health - Our team of state-certified case managers, psychiatrists and psychiatric nurses support individuals and families affected by mental, emotional and behavioral problems. This comprehensive program combines Eastern and Western approaches to improve recovery and quality of life. Also, the Café Hope Behavioral Espresso Stand Project allows select clients to safely interact and learn job skills while achieving wellness and self-sufficiency.

Problem Gambling Treatment - Provides screening and confidential counseling for individuals and families.
