Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization offering a broad array of human services and behavioral health programs to Asian Pacific Americans in King County and in the Pacific Northwest.

Our mission is to promote social justice, well-being and empowerment of APA individuals, families and communities – whether immigrant, refugee or native-born - by creating, providing and advocating innovative multilingual multicultural services.

ACRS’ staff is made up of about 235 employees and 700 volunteers who collectively speak 30+ languages/dialects and help more than 27,000 people a year.  Many staffers share similar experiences transitioning from their native countries to the United States; many are regarded as leaders in their respective ethnic communities.
