For decades, ACRS has reached community members who are historically under served due to language and cultural barriers. Separated by language and lack of technology, the digital divide further isolates immigrants and refugees especially during an important time of social distancing.

As we face an unprecedented health and economic crisis, ACRS remains committed to ensuring those who need help can find support in their native languages. Since March, ACRS has expanded our efforts toward:

  • Tele-health and remote services for wellness screenings, case management, employment counseling, citizenship assistance, emergency legal aid, and rental assistance.
  • Technical training for clients to help them navigate the internet and tools like using Zoom, and YouTube.
  • A multilingual hotline for information and referral services for those needing emergency resources.
  • Food bank and meal delivery only, ensuring seniors and families who rely on the ACRS food bank receive healthy and culturally familiar food.
  • Phone and text banks so that community members know their vote and Census information counts.

All donations will benefit the work of ACRS and our ability to meet the needs of clients and community members.  Your gift makes a difference!
