About Us
Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) provides safety net services with staff who speak over 40 languages reflecting the communities we serve. Our mission is to promote social justice and the well-being and empowerment of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) individuals, families and communities -- including immigrants, refugees and native born -- by developing, providing and advocating for innovative community-based multilingual and multicultural services.
Addressing Hunger
ACRS’ Food Bank and Emergency Feeding Programs help close the gap for many families who are choosing between paying their rent, purchasing prescription medication, and other expenses, keeping families healthy and whole. We address hunger in our communities by offering nutritious ethnic meals and culturally familiar foods like rice, tofu, fish, bok choy, fresh herbs, noodles, etc
